Important fact : We do not offer free shipping because there is no such thing! We ask you to compare our prices against those who claim to offer you free shipping and you will notice they add the shipping costs into the price of the product. Windy Hill can not and does not control the shipping prices. These prices are set by UPS. Shipping costs are automatically generated from UPS and figured by the weight of your order from point A to B.
If the shipping comes up zero it is because you have a large or heavy order that exceeds the calculators' ability.
In such cases, we will add the shipping & handling charges to your order and enclose a copy of your final bill with your order. NOTE: We do not confirm shipping costs before shipping in order to expedite your order. If you need the shipping confirmed, you MUST use the comments section to tell us this. This will delay your order about 3 days.
NOTE: If you give us instructions of "must arrive by" , we will charge you for the extra cost of shipping express.
Special and custom orders require extra time.
Notice: Saturday and Sunday does not count in shipping times, nor does the day of pick up.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
WE NOW ACCEPT INTERNATIONAL ORDERS. WE SHIP ONLY BY UPS. CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TAXES, DUTIES, TARIFFS ETC ON ALL ORDERS
WE WILL PACK ALL IEMS VERY CAREFULLY FOR THEIR TRIP TO YOU BUT CANNOT ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBLITY FOR ANY DAMAGE OR LOSS OF INTERNATIONAL ORDERS. WE WILL INSURE THE ITEMS FOR THEIR FULL VALUE. THE CUSTOMER MUST FILE ALL CLAIMS DIRECTLY WITH UPS TO GET RE IMBURSEMENT FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE.
BY PLACING AN ORDER WITH US, YOU ARE ACCEPTING THESE TERMS OF SALE
NOTE: If you live in a HOT state and the weather is over 90 degrees, you should request 3 day select service to avoid heat damage to your candles. Heat related damage is not covered by UPS insurance and is NOT our responsiblity.
WRONG ADDRESS - should you give us an incorrect or incomplete address, UPS will try to find you and correct the error. There is a $7.00 fee (PER BOX) for this which will be billed to your card. If the order is returned because of this, we will credit your card back for the merchandise less shipping both ways.
Please note: It is your responsibilty to contact UPS if they attempt delivery and you are not home to accept. UPS will leave a note with their number and will redeliver the next day. If again, you are not home and do not call, they will return the order as 'undeliverable'. Should this happen, we will credit your card back for the merchandise only as we have paid the shipping to UPS and it is non refundable. Having the order sent to your work or a relative is a good idea if you are usually not home during the day. UPS will not leave the package if you are not home unless you have previously authorized them to do so.
